Terms of Service

Version 1.0 — Effective date 17 July 2026

Simple Packaging is a trading name of OXBEAK LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15926865, with registered office at Unit 7–8 Silverlink Business Park, Wallsend, United Kingdom NE28 9NX. In these Terms of Service (the “Terms”), “Simple Packaging”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to OXBEAK LTD, and “you” and “your” refer to the business customer organisation and the authorised users acting on its behalf.

1. Eligibility and B2B use

The Simple Packaging platform is provided on a business-to-business basis only. By using the platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you are acting for a business or organisation, and that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. The platform is not intended for consumers acting outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

2. Accounts and organisations

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that takes place under your account. Organisation owners are responsible for managing user roles and permissions within their workspace, and for ensuring that users comply with these Terms.

3. Customer data and responsibility

You retain ownership of the Product, packaging, supplier, evidence and other data you enter into your workspace. You grant OXBEAK LTD a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process and display that data solely as necessary to provide the platform to your organisation. You are responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness and completeness of the data you enter, and for ensuring that you have the right to process it.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the platform to:

  • engage in unlawful activity or infringe third-party rights;
  • upload, distribute or link to malware or malicious content;
  • gain unauthorised access to any account, workspace or system;
  • conduct penetration testing or vulnerability scanning without our prior written consent;
  • scrape or extract data by automated means outside approved platform functionality;
  • reverse engineer the platform, except to the extent permitted by law;
  • interfere with the operation of the service or place unreasonable load on it;
  • upload data you do not have the right to process;
  • attempt to access another organisation’s workspace or data; or
  • use the platform to misrepresent your legal or regulatory status.

5. Intellectual property

The Simple Packaging platform, including its software, content, structured data, source-linked references and branding, is owned by OXBEAK LTD or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

6. Subscriptions, trial and billing

  • a 14-day trial is available and is limited to one trial per organisation;
  • a payment method is collected through Stripe-hosted Checkout;
  • the trial starts only when explicitly activated through Checkout;
  • unless cancelled before the trial ends, the selected paid subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial;
  • monthly and annual billing options are available for the Starter, Growth and Professional plans;
  • Enterprise is subject to a separate commercial agreement;
  • cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period;
  • cancellation does not automatically delete customer workspace data;
  • trials do not restart automatically, and no additional trial is available following a cancellation.

All payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted surfaces. OXBEAK LTD does not store raw payment card details.

7. Refunds

Subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law or where OXBEAK LTD confirms that a billing error has occurred. Any discretionary refund or credit is considered individually and does not create an ongoing entitlement.

8. Support

Support enquiries can be sent to compliance@packaging-simple.com. The subscription does not include a guaranteed support-response service-level agreement, a dedicated account manager, guaranteed live onboarding, regulatory consultancy services or professional legal review.

9. Service availability and changes

We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, add or remove features, and update source-linked information and regulatory coverage, at our discretion. Regulatory coverage is activated in controlled stages; unsupported jurisdictions are not represented as fully covered.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached, where required by law, or where continued access poses a security, legal or operational risk. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. On termination, your rights to use the platform end, but your obligations that by their nature survive termination will continue.

11. Packaging-readiness disclaimer

Simple Packaging provides source-linked packaging readiness information and does not provide legal advice or guarantee compliance.

  • Assessment results are generated from data you enter and select;
  • a “no trigger identified” result is not a legal compliance certificate;
  • the platform does not approve Products for sale;
  • the platform does not guarantee that packaging may lawfully be placed on every Market;
  • you remain responsible for obtaining legal or specialist advice where needed;
  • official sources and regulatory coverage are activated in controlled stages;
  • unsupported jurisdictions are not represented as fully covered.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that, the platform is provided subject to the stated packaging-readiness and legal-advice limitations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OXBEAK LTD excludes indirect, consequential, special and incidental losses, and losses of profit, revenue, goodwill, business, contracts or anticipated savings. OXBEAK LTD is not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated information you or your users have entered. Customer organisations remain responsible for final legal, regulatory and commercial decisions.

13. Confidentiality

Each party must treat non-public information received from the other in connection with the platform as confidential and use it only to perform its obligations and exercise its rights under these Terms. Each party must apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect such information.

14. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim. The platform is offered on a B2B basis and consumer-specific cancellation rights do not apply.
